as you can see, the antenna appears to be somewhat recessed from where it should be. I can't tell what I did wrong. The assembly itself bolted back up in the designated holes..so all I can figure is I did something wrong with the mast itself and stopper. It goes all the way up when you turn the car on...and down recessed like this when you shut it off. I wouldnt care at all...except its going to make a perfect leak spot for rain if I'm ever parked outside in a rainstorm. Not sure if it'll go straight down into the motor and fry it, or just into the trunk area and soak it. WTF? The antenna is said to be 300ZX specific.
